At DePaul, the fraternities follow an open recruitment policy, meaning each fraternity is largely responsible for attracting its own prospective members to their recruitment events. Individuals are not required to register or pay any fees to go through recruitment, nor are they required to visit each chapter before being extended a bid. The Interfraternity Council promotes all of the chapters during the summer orientation sessions but leaves much of the work up to the chapters. Along with the rest of the chapters on campus, the Illinois Delta-Pi chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon has a year round recruitment style, meaning we are always looking for individuals that can bring something to our chapter.
